THE CALIFORNIA STATE RANKING
The ranking operates through a scoring system that rewards athletes and academies based on their performance in competitions throughout the year.
Standard scoring awards 9 points for 1st place, 3 points for 2nd place, and 1 point for 3rd place, though these values may vary depending on the event's prestige.
At the end of the season, the top-performing athletes and academies are recognized as the standouts of the global circuit.
Points earned by each athlete also contribute to their academy’s ranking, fostering healthy competition among regional schools.
Athletes accumulate points by securing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in their respective divisions.
This system encourages practitioners’ technical growth and strengthens the sense of teamwork within the Gracie Barra community.
